Pirate Religion
Pirate Religion is sort of an oxymoron, like "school board competence" or "hospital efficiency".
If anything, Pirate religion is a philisophical openness to treasure to be plundered wherever it might lie.
In fact, among a crew of two dozen or more, I would expect a wide range of pursuits being tried by many people.
In fact, Pirate Religion is particularly fond of "The Church of the Subgenius", on of the most successful 'fake religions' of all time.
Each ship should have a 'Sanctuary'. That Sanctuary would be the repository of all of the sacred artifacts plundered by the crew.
Upon entry to the crew, each member is given "All Knowledge" Volumes 1 & 2.
These disks contain over 2,000 of the most sacred of texts from every known religion, sect and cult. The value of this treasure is incalcuable.
Study is usually directed by the Captain.
Then ther's the INITIATION.
