Pirate Economics

TOTUS FO TUTUS

Pirate economics revolves around the idea of a Ms. Ism. Mutual Self Interest Shared Income Model.

This isn't hard to explain, but it does have some interesting aspects to it. Perhaps some examples will be useful here. Imagine that you are not the isolated, insecure individual that you are now. You are not only supported by two dozen shipmates, but actively sought by your shipmates for your awsome skill-set. You create your own organizations, put in your own proposals, get your own contracts, and do what you do best.

Another example is the almost universal (in our culture) desire for more toys, bigger toys, more distractions from the empty lives we live as wage slaves to chimps and chumps. What if you shared those toys between shipmates? I have a trailer, a small boat and motor, three vehicles, etc. I'd like to have an ultralight, a vacation property, a membership in a men's club and more. I'm sure as fuck not willing to sell my soul to some fucked up insurance company or some other PINK organization so that I can afford them. One alternative is to be frugal and be happy with what you have. Been there, done that. One alternative is to SHARE THEM...even rent them out to PINKS when we're not using them
What is the other alternative? It's the Tong...it's the TAZ...IT'S THE PIRATE CREW!!!...for an expanded view of what I'm talking about, try this site: http://deoxy.org/radiosermonettes.htm#1

Another way of looking at economics: Is your glass half-full of grog, or half-empty?

If you can get the neccessities of life (we'll define that later) at half of the cost you now incurr, you only have to earn half as much. This seems so simple as I'm writing it, yet because the concept is never on SOCIETYS MENU, nobody thinks about it. FUCK!!!

PIRATE ECONOMICS works because it operates in your own self interest.

This can be as simple as shared property, and as complicated as legally defined Collapsible Collaborative Cooperative Projects. (CCCP)
